In 2012, Chance Tyler, founder, was approached by an individual who was interested in using the software Chance had written. Over the years, Chance had owned various businesses, and he had extensive online marketing experience. He compiled all of the software he had written the past 10 years and brought in a friend Bryan Jensen, to assist. Bryan had the business and sales experience to brand it all together and modify it, so that it could be used by multiple businesses simultaneously.

Initially, they offered it to a variety of businesses, a few being the pool construction industry and the fencing industry. They felt those areas were under served and did not have any software solutions that met specific business needs.

In 2015, after running a few stores with Chance, and working as a district manager in the past, Jeff Shannon, director, officially joined ProDBX.

Several years later in 2017, Van Hansen, CEO, joined the team as he had experience with larger software companies, and he could bring ProDBX to the next level.
